The other day I was helping Esmerelda fix her computer and she saw my tattoo. Why 11? I said, Oh I love eleven. And she said: "So do I.. in fact, I see 11:11 on the clock all the time." I continue to meet people who see it. I said Well, that's the universe's way of telling you that you are on your path. She said: "That's for sure." I'm not obsessed with eleven, but it really does still follow me around.

I was born on the 11th. I have an 11 tattooed at the base of my spine inside a lotus. I was supposed to fly on Sept 11, 2001 from San Francisco to Pittsburgh.

I love November 11th for obvious reasons. I love numbers that are divisible by 11 and I also add up numbers to see if they equal 11, like my childhood address was 2153. My phone number as a kid also had an 11 in it. My social security number has one too.

A woman named Shelagh wrote me from Montreal recently and told me that she too loves 11, was born on the 11th, and she loves spirals, and Frida and and and... conclusion: we are all interconnected. I met a bunch of people at MacLaren who all see 11:11 on the clock. There is an 11 tribe on tribe.net. Pam and I became best friends over the number 11 over 8 years ago.

I have met several amazing amazing people along the way who are not just charmed by 11, they are riveted by 11... you don't have a choice once you start noticing 11, or 11:11 you really don't. It's just there and it's the icing on the cake in a lot of ways.

For me, it's a moment when time stops, sort of freezes and I smile and think of my Mom and a lot of different stuff like oh good it's still there, a reminder of the benevolent order of the universe just showed itself to me once again and there are some things that are part of the mystery and 11 is one of those things.

My Mom will often say "I saw 11:11 the other day and I knew you were thinking of me..." 11 is about connecting on a very psychic level, I know that much. My Mom and I have that going on. And it's a powerful number, it resonates, it carries energy and some people use that, harness that because they want to. I don't really work with 11, it works with me.

11 does not always have to be this big Aha moment so relax, new agers. My opinion is that you are being reminded of whatever it is that you need to be reminded of (in that moment) like for me it's usually that my Mom loves me and I am in the right place at the right time. I would be Very Concerned if I stopped seeing it, let's just put it that way.
